Breast Cancer Gaps Project

Black women in Minnesota have a 41 percent higher mortality rate from breast cancer than white women. This is unacceptable. The Breast Cancer Gaps Project is inspired, led and sustained by the Black community and works to dramatically reduce breast cancer deaths of Black women.

Minneapolis Health Department

The Minneapolis Health Department’s Public Health Community Institute (PHCI) strengthens small organizations serving vulnerable populations by providing capacity building, technical assistance, and funding. The goal is to equip these organizations with the skills and resources needed to collaborate with the City and larger institutions to address health disparities.

Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity

Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity (MDHEQ) is a statewide coalition of physicians and other health professionals working toward health equity for all Minnesotans. MDHEQ believes everyone deserves to live a healthy life, regardless of their race, gender, age, income, or neighborhood.

Minnesota Rural Health Association

Minnesota Rural Health Association is a non-profit, membership organization missioned to strengthen the health, health care and well-being of rural Minnesotans through leadership, advocacy, education and collaboration.

NorthPoint Health & Wellness

NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center is a health care and human services agency in North Minneapolis, administered by a community board of directors and Hennepin County.
