Helping Make Hunger History with Second Harvest Heartland

Together with other volunteers, the ABH team packed over 3.5 tons of onions that will be distributed to food shelves in MN and WI.

The ABH team recently had the pleasure of volunteering at Second Harvest Heartland and helping to pack thousands of pounds of food, which will be distributed to food shelves across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Second Harvest Heartland is the largest food bank in Minnesota, and through partnerships with nearly 500 food banks, they are able to provide close to 128 million meals to people in need.

ABH is proud to support Second Harvest Heartland in their Moonshot goal to Make Hunger History in Minnesota by 2030. We look forward to continuing to advocate for hunger prevention policies next year in St. Paul, and we hope you’ll join us!
