Join Us: An Evening with ABH & Ricardo Levins Morales

As 2025 looms in the near future, we are even more driven and dedicated to our mission to create real change with initiatives that support the health and well-being of all Minnesotans. While we acknowledge and recognize the coming months hold many unknowns, we are not giving up, and the work is far from over.

There are many ways to advocate for health equity and social justice, and we invite you to find an avenue that ignites your passion into action. For Ricardo Levins Morales, that avenue is art. Ricardo is a Puerto Rican-born, Minnesota-based artist and activist who uses his art to support healing and motivate action. Ricardo describes himself as “a healer-trickster-organizer disguised as an artist," and his wisdom has greatly shaped the ethos of ABH’s Public Health Advocacy Fellowship.

We are honored to host Ricardo for our first Evening with ABH in 2025. Join us on January 14th at 6:30pm at Open Book Performance Hall for dinner, a presentation, and facilitated discussion with Ricardo. Everyone is welcome to attend!
