Join us! Commercial Tobacco Cessation Training

On Tuesday, December 3rd at 6pm, Advocates for Better Health is again excited to offer our annual commercial tobacco cessation training to University of Minnesota medical students! This year we are pleased to welcome Vikki Ebenhoh, Director of Nursing for the South Central Human Relations Center and a certified tobacco treatment specialist. Vikki has been a Registered Nurse for 7 years, registered as a Public Health Nurse for over 6 years, and has a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management. With her background in behavioral health, home care coordination, and local public health, Vikki leads evidence-based initiatives and develops policies to improve healthcare outcomes at the agency. Recognizing the impact of rural healthcare disparities, she passionately educates staff and clients individually and in groups about tobacco use/treatment and how it relates to mental health.

We hope you'll join us for an enriching 1 hour Zoom presentation where we'll learn about commercial tobacco use and the impact on mental health, and FDA approved tobacco cessation treatments. Registration is requested and we hope to see you there!
