For Immediate Release: Light the Legacy revitalizes Honoring Choices Minnesota as it transitions away from Advocates for Better Health
Minneapolis, MN – September 8, 2022 – Effective September 1, 2022, Advocates for Better Health is passing the torch for statewide advance care planning leadership to Light the Legacy, a non-profit devoted to advance care planning since 2009. Honoring Choices Minnesota has been ABH’ advance care planning initiative since 2008. Due to funding constraints, ABH ended Honoring Choices Minnesota’s active programming in 2021,
TCMS Rebrands as Advocates for Better Health
A leading group of Twin Cities Metro-area physicians and medical students, formerly known as Twin Cities Medical Society (TCMS), announced today they will now be called Advocates for Better Health, or ABH. The new name and identity reflect an ongoing evolution in the organization’s mission and the vision toward physician and medical student advocacy dedicated to healthier, more equitable communities.
